The group’s webmaster and precinct chair candidate resigned via group email and later posted on the party’s website:
I am calling for an elected, senior, respected member of the Democratic Party to stand up and take control of the situation at tomorrow’s night meeting (lynching in disguise). Our finances, what is left of them, are in order. Our house is not.
(See her full post.)Former webmaster Angie Cadena said her reference to a “lynching” was in reference to plans to announce the recent removal of party Treasurer Joseph Nazaroff, a close friend of hers, by a CEC subcommittee last week. But party members aren’t willing to abide by Ramos’ midnight cancellation. County Executive Committee members began sending their own emails stating unequivocally that the meeting is still on.
