  • The Daily Show
Last night, The Daily Show closed out it's week of Texas-themed episodes with a look at Austin's real weirdness. It turns out that the so-called liberal bastion in the middle of the Lone Star State is almost entirely represented in Congress by Republicans, with the exception of Representative Lloyd Doggett. Why? Redistricting, of course. And leave it to Austin to have someone in a full body snake skin tattoo intelligently explain the concept of gerrymandering for Samantha Bee and the laymen in the television audience.

The episode's guest was Spoon, who played a couple of songs from their latest album, "They Want My Soul." Here's their performance of "Do You."
