PechaKucha Vol. 18 On Tuesday

PechaKucha comes back to San Antonio May 26. The Arneson River Theatre (418 Villita Street) will host event beginning at 7:30 p.m., kicking off the festivities with happy hour.

Japanese for 'chit-chat,' PechaKucha brings together some of the most creative minds in San Antonio. 

Each slideshow is 20 slides 20 seconds long and anyone can do it. The presenters includes a broad range of passionate professionals, including artists, academics, authors, health professionals, chefs, community leaders, musicians, florists, and potters, according to PechaKucha's website

Randy Beamer and Molly Cox will emcee the event.

You wont want to miss the ubiquitous Avi Avalos, or rather Mr. Piñata SA, showcasing his Mexican-American style art and cultural awareness. David Martin Davies, who hosts Texas Public Radio's The Source, will offer 20 years worth of experience in journalism and broadcasting. Libby Wardlaw Maddin, a local musician, also will give San Antonio a taste of her road trip enthusiasm, according to Rivard Report. 

Admission includes a five dollar donation and pre-sale tickets are already available.
