What Spurs fan hasn't pretended to be Tim Duncan in their driveway? Lowering the backboard a few feet, backing down your little brother, throwing it down like the Big Fundamental, not saying anything afterwards.

This guy went a little further than most, though. 

Brandon Armstrong, a pro basketball player who’s spent time in Europe and in the NBA Development League, tweeted this video yesterday imitating Duncan’s game:


It’s obviously not a direct facsimile, but all the necessary elements are there: hugging the basketball, jittery-but-unstoppable old guy post moves, a shot with a nonexistent arch and of course Tim Duncan crazy eyes.

I’ve been playing the video more or less on loop since I saw it. That’s probably due in equal parts to how funny it is, and how much I already miss basketball.

Duncan isn't the first player Armstrong has impersonated. He also does a pretty solid Russell Westbrook, too.
