The San Antonio Express-News reports that a lawsuit filed by a San Antonio man against Uber has moved from state to federal court.

David Micheletti, a former driver, joins a wave of other erstwhile drivers across the nation, in accusing the company of short-changing him by classifying him as an independent contractor rather than an employee, Express-News reports.

According to the report, the lawsuit, which seeks to be classified as a class-action, accuses Uber of paying less than minimum wage, using misleading tactics concerning tips and not ponying up for canceled fares, Express-News reports.
