Friday has arrived and for many of us, there are just eight more hours between the work week and the weekend.

And weather could put on a damper on any outside activities Saturday and Sunday.

The weather wizards at the National Weather Service say showers and thunderstorms are expected across South Central Texas Saturday through Sunday morning, with a few strong to severe storms possible.

However, the threat for severe weather is more likely across North Central Texas, according to the NWS.

San Antonio could get anywhere from 1/2 to an inch of rain.

You know what's great on rainy colder days? Hot cocoa. You know what makes hot cocoa even better? Alcohol.

So with the weather in mind, check out this hot (and spiked) cocoa recipe called the Aztec Slugger.
