The Bexar County District Attorney's Office just announced that San Antonio Police Officer Robert Encina won't face charges for shooting and killing Marquise Jones in February of 2014.

Encina killed Jones while working security — he was off duty — at Chacho's and Chalucci's drive thru while investigating a fender bender. Jones was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in a minor accident.

The San Antonio Police Department says Jones pulled a gun, but Jones' family, which has filed a civil suit, point to an autopsy that shows Jones was shot in the back, alleging Jones was running away when he was shot.

Last week, the DA announced two sheriff's deputies wouldn't face charges for shooting and killing Gilbert Flores in August.
