More like the Green Gatsby, amirite?
After rocking some colorful Nike Hyperquickness 3 customs by Dank & Co.
on Christmas Day, Danny Green
was back to basic black-and-white Nikes for Wednesday night’s 112-79 drubbing of the Phoenix Suns. The Spurs dominated the Suns from the tip, closing out the calendar year undefeated at home, and only 2 ½ games behind the Golden State Warriors for the best record in the NBA.
Although still working his way through a shooting slump from beyond the arc, Green had a great 2015. He signed a four-year, $45 million deal with the Spurs over the summer, helping to set a fiscal tone for the arrival of David West. Despite his struggles from downtown, Green has stepped things up on the defensive end, complementing Kawhi Leonard along the perimeter.
Green will ring in the New Year at Club Rio where he, “his teammates & all his celebrity friends,” will host a Great Gatsby-themed soiree. An upscale dress code is in effect and VIP bottle packages kick off at $350. Those looking to get in full Green Gatsby mode can swing by Sole Sneaker Boutique
to cop a commemorative Danny Green Holler watch and countdown to 2016.
