The San Antonio Current is looking for several interns to join our production and editorial teams!

PRODUCTION INTERNS

We're looking for motivated and creative graphic design interns to join our production team. This is the perfect place for new designers to learn, develop their portfolio, network with industry professionals, and develop new skills that they will carry with them throughout their career. You must demonstrate strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills. This is an unpaid internship.
To apply, please send a resume, and portfolio pieces to jmata@sacurrent.com and tcorbeil@sacurrent.com

Editorial Interns:

You will be expected to produce relevant, engaging San Antonio news and commentary on a daily basis, as well as pitch and produce several slideshows per week. This position allows candidates to cover a range of local topics, including coverage of news, arts, food, music and our calendar.

A journalism or communications background and experience writing for a website always helps, as do copy-editing and multimedia skills. But we encourage anyone with a keen curiosity and strong writing skills to apply.

Submit a brief introduction, a resume and two published clips toalopez@sacurrent.com with the subject Blogging Intern. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis. Applicants who are enrolled in school and are able to receive academic credit are preferred, as this is an unpaid internship. We offer flexible schedules, and interns may start immediately.
