Hilmy Productions, a creative agency
near downtown San Antonio, has won the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics and Visual Communication Design. The accolade was for Hilmy's campaign for Jazz, Texas, a new music venue and eatery opening soon at the Historic Pearl Brewery.

According to the design details submitted by Hilmy, the inspiration for the Jazz, Texas brand was meant to “evoke the life and excitement of jazz while also instilling an unabashedly Texan attitude.”

Along with a logo for the venue, which implements a musical tuning fork, a sun setting on the West Texas desert and a cowboy's spur, Hilmy also designed a vintage jazz album cover that will be used to house the live performance records for sale at Jazz, Texas.
