CurrentCast Sneak Peek: Writer Shea Serrano on the Trials and Tribulations of Teaching Middle School

  • Sarah Flood-Baumann
Before Shea Serrano was a New York Times bestselling author, a writer for the defunct sports and pop culture site Grantland and creator of the newsletter Basketball and Other Things, the San Antonio native was a middle school teacher.

Check back here tomorrow for the rest of the interview, in which Serrano talks about growing up on the South Side, his thoughts on the Spurs' championship chances and yelling at his kids after basketball games (no longer a habit of his).
