Texans are watching a lot of trans porn.

Perhaps that's news to the state's Republican leaders, notably Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Attorney General Ken Paxton, who want to prevent transgender people from using the bathroom that corresponds to their gender identity. But it's true.

Porn site XHamster recently turned over user statistics to Broadly involving searches for transgender porn in 11 states. They're the ones that have sued the Obama administration over its directive requiring public schools to allow transgender students to use the bathroom that corresponds with their gender identity. And Texas, one of the plaintiffs, leads the way.

Texans viewed trans porn videos on the site 1,641,050 times, searched for trans porn 105,053 times, and uploaded 881 trans porn videos to XHamster. Those totals dwarf the figures for the 10 other states in the lawsuit. Click here to see how Texas stacks up against them.
