San Antonio FC recorded their third consecutive win on Sunday, July 3 when they beat Tulsa Roughnecks FC 2-1 away from home, expanding on the club’s first winning streak in franchise history and earning 10 points out of a possible 12 in their last four matches.

Midfielder Michael Reed recorded his second goal of the season against Tulsa, while Carlos Alvarez provided an assist to bring his team-leading tally to four as he set up recent club signee Franck Tayou for the winning goal. Tayou has scored two goals in three appearances for the club.

SAFC has now scored eight goals in their last four matches after only finding the back of the net once in their four matches prior to that. In addition, five players have scored their first goal for the club during the current positive streak. The club will return home to host Oklahoma City Energy FC at Toyota Field on Saturday.
