San Antonio Police arrested a 49-year-old woman on Tuesday for hitting her 12-year-old daughter with a cascarón and continuing to beat her after.

Police say Belinda Abundis attacked her daughter at an Easter family gathering on Sunday, where she reportedly pushed, punched, kicked and pulled the hair of her young daughter.

KSAT 12 reports that doctors determined the child had a minor concussion, and, according to the affidavit, Abundis was feuding with her mother prior to attacking her daughter, though her child had no participation in the family feud.
