Man On Fire Jumps Off Bridge Near Thousand Oaks

At around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, paramedics responded to an incident near Thousand Oaks and Quarry Park, where a man reportedly lit himself on fire and jumped from a bridge, killing himself.

The incident took place near Morgan's Wonderland, where two witnesses saw the man jump, reports MySA. According to San Antonio Police Department Detective Richard Richardson, police found a receipt for lighter fluid, purchased earlier this morning near the body.



The two witnesses, Khiari Brown and Michael Ray, said they saw the man climbing over the bridge's railing before they drove down to the bed of the quarry and saw the man burning, dead on the ground.

The body has yet to be identified.
