Police Search Home of Sutherland Springs Shooter for Explosives

The San Antonio Police Department is searching for explosives in the home of the suspected Sutherland Springs church shooter, who killed 27 people and injured another 20 on Sunday.

According to mySA.com, police are currently sending a K9 unit to the home, of which the location has not been disclosed.



The shooter was killed after a brief chase into the neighboring Guadalupe County. It is unclear if he was killed by police or a self-inflicted wound.

The shooter's identification is still unknown.
