Sen. Ted Cruz should really consider taking a break from Twitter.

First there was his tasteful "snowflake" comment that royally ticked off just about everybody last week, the monumentally embarrassing pornography tweet his account liked, and now he's getting a hard lesson by the Jedi Master himself, Mark Hamill.

On Saturday, Hamill shared a tweet criticizing chairman of the FCC Ajit Pai claiming that he is "profoundly unworthy 2 wield a lightsaber" after Pai shared a video of himself doing just that. And like a good boy, Cruz jumped into the ring to defend Pai and make another totally not confusing analogy while he's at it.

"@HammillHimself Luke, I know Hollywood can be confusing, but it was Vader who supported govt power over everything said & done on the Internet," Cruz tweets. "That's why giant corps (Google, Facebook, Netflix) supported the FCC power grab of net neutrality. Reject the dark side: Free the net!"

(It appears no one has told Cruz that those giant corporations he name dropped have actually been very vocal about defending net neutrality. Or that he tweeted the wrong Mark Hamill account.)

This level of incompetence certainly didn't go over Hamill's head. The Star Wars actor responded to Cruz within an hour to drop arguably the biggest bomb of all: "Maybe you're just distracted from watching porn at the office again."

Love, Mark Hamill.
