Texas State Parks Are Insanely Packed for Spring Break and People Have Mixed Feelings About It

While many flock to the South Padre Island for spring break, just as many Texans visit state parks for hiking, swimming, fishing and more.

On Tuesday, the Facebook page for Enchanted Rock Natural Area – about 90 miles north of San Antonio – shared this photo.
The line for entry was already as far as the eye could see by 7:30 a.m. While employees shared the photo to warn visitors that they may not get into the park, there were mixed reactions to the long line.

Of course, there were comments from the environmentally-conscious.
Some felt protective of the park, environment aside.
Some people even managed to bring politics into the commentary.

Then there's this guy, who obviously doesn't understand a state park's purpose.
Thankfully, there were some comments who got the whole point of state parks.
If you're going to brave the crowds and head over to parks early for the rest of spring break, follow this sage advice:
