Melania Trump Wore Jacket with Tone-Deaf Phrase to Visit Immigrant Detention Center. Then Vandals Spray-Painted the Words on SA Missions.

Two San Antonio missions were defaced Friday morning in what appears to be a politically-motivated act of vandalism.

Missions San Jose and San Juan were both vandalized with the phrase "I don't care. Do you?" A similar phrase was on the back of a coat worn by First Lady Melania Trump while boarding a plane to visit an immigrant detention facility for children on Thursday.
At Mission San Jose Church, the quote was attributed to an "MT." At San Juan, graffiti in the same color also says, "Fuck ICE."
Dianna Aguirre Martinez, a director at Old Spanish Missions Inc., said contractors are working to remove the graffiti, but will have to remove a layer of plaster in the process. Old Spanish Missions Inc. is an affiliate of the Catholic Diocese of San Antonio, which advocates on behalf of the immigrant children being detained at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Security cameras are installed on the properties, and the footage has been sent to the police.
