San Antonio Police Department
Public masturbator Terrence Palumbo, 27
A serial flasher and masturbator in San Antonio was arrested late Thursday.
On Monday, the San Antonio Police Department requested the public's help in tracking down Terrence Palumbo, who has allegedly been masturbating publicly in front of women since as early as March.
reportedly exposed himself at least six times
to six different women, the first occurring at a Bitters Road Target on March 25. A woman said she was sitting in her vehicle when Palumbo pulled up next to her and began masturbating while watching her and thrusting his hips. She was able to record a video of the incident and get the man's license plate.
Five similar incidents
have followed since then. One woman described the same scenario at a shopping center near U.S. 281 on May 16, another at a nearby H-E-B on May 28.
On July 7, Palumbo moved south to a Shell gas station at Marbach and South Ellison. A woman said she was pumping gas and heard moaning coming from another car. When she looked, she allegedly saw Palumbo masturbating while looking at her. She confronted him, which caused him to apologize and drive away, though the woman was able to get his license plate.
He didn't quite respond the same way during another incident 10 days later. A woman told police that she was driving on the highway when she saw another driver keeping pace with her. She looked over and saw Palumbo, who – you guessed it – was masturbating while looking at her. The woman said that when she made eye contact with the man, he put his tongue between his fingers and flicked his tongue at her. The police report says that Palumbo continued jerking off and prevented the woman from exiting the highway for some time.
Police were finally able to get a lead
after Palumbo pulled his masturbate-and-stare routine in a drive-thru on July 21. He allegedly paid and received his coffee order, but stayed to masturbate in front of the the employee. Luckily, the business had surveillance footage of the incident which allowed police to identify Palumbo.
Palumbo has been charged with three counts of indecent exposure as well as possession of marijuana. His bail is set at $7,000.
