San Antonio Joining Texas Protests Blasting Trump Over Firing Sessions and Jeopardizing the Mueller Probe

San Antonio will be among the Texas cities with protests this evening against President Donald Trump’s firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions — a move critics say jeopardizes Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

"Nobody Is Above the Law" rallies are scheduled in cities across the country to demand Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker recuse himself from overseeing Mueller's investigation. Whitacre has made past public comments criticizing the scope and legitimacy of Mueller's probe of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.



The San Antonio protest will take place in Travis Park downtown at 5 p.m. Similar rallies are scheduled for the same time in Dallas, Houston and Austin.
