What happens in San Antonio stays in San Antonio.
When it comes to decadence, Las Vegas may have the lock — what with all that gambling, boozing and legalized prostitution.
But finance site WalletHub ran the numbers on how other U.S. metros stack up as "sin cities" against top-ranked Vegas, and San Antonio landed surprisingly high
. Try 28th out of 182.
That's below Dallas, which slotted in at No. 13, but ahead of every other sizable Texas city. Even Austin's boozy 6th Street could't elevate it higher than 40th on the list.
So how did WalletHub size cities up on their levels of decadence? It compared 37 data sets, from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to adult entertainment establishments per capita, and grouping them as the Seven Deadly Sins.
Looks like S.A.'s highest ranking was on its "Lust Score," which was an (un)enviable 10th in the nation. That score factors in adult entertainment spots per capita, Google searches for naughty entertainment, number of active Tinder users and... (you guessed it) teen birth rate.
