A San Antonio man has been booked for driving while intoxicated after crashing his SUV into a fast food restaurant on the city's West Side.

Happens all the time in San Anto, right? The twist here is that he also happens to be a mariachi.

The man, along with at least one other mariachi, drove the SUV into a Jack in the Box around 3 a.m. Thursday after leaving a performance.

No, they weren't trying to get those cheap Monster Tacos. While on Culebra Road, the driver tried turning onto NW 24th Street but allegedly lost control and jumped the curb, hitting the front of the restaurant.

The crash left one of the building's support beams crumbled, other beams cracked and a glass door shattered, according to KSAT. Police said neither the musicians nor any Jack in the Box employees were hurt.

Police on the scene administered a sobriety test, which resulted in the driver's arrest. Authorities said it appeared that the man was also speeding leading up to the crash.

No details regarding the Jack in the Box's operations are available at this time.
