Despite the rain and severe weather forecasts this weekend, the Dia de los Muertos Celebration in La Villita is still happening.

Contingency plans are being made for the live music acts should it rain. (It will) Live music will go ahead as scheduled unless the rain gets serious. The entire event will be suspended if there is a severe thunderstorm warning or flash flood warning.

The altar and vendor participants present will be under tents so they can operate during any rain.

So maybe take an umbrella, because Muertos Fest isn't dead yet.
