It's your favorite time of the year, San Antonio! The 29th annual Best of San Antonio¨ Readers' Choice poll is here!

The nomination round is are closed, but the Best of San Antonio Finalists Round will open on June 10, 2019!

Now is your chance to vote all that makes San Antonio great — the local people, places and things to do — across 150+ categories. We've tallied up your nominations and narrowed down your favorites to top 5 finalists in each category in the next phase of voting.

Vote on the finalists from June 10 - 30.

Winners will be revealed in the San Antonio Current's Best of San Antonio® issue on July 31.

A few things to know before you vote:

  • Celebrate what makes San Antonio unique by nominating locally owned businesses wherever possible. Only Texas-based businesses/people are qualified to win.
  • You must register and turn off pop-up blockers before voting. If you are having trouble casting votes, you may need to clear your browser's cache. Not sure how to do that? Follow instructions here.
  • If we suspect that you obtained your votes unfairly -- via third-party vendors, paying people to vote for you or by voting for yourself repeatedly using fake accounts -- you'll be disqualified from winning your category.
  • You may vote once per day, so spread the word.

Located at Broadway and Hildebrand, this iconic San Antonio restaurant was enjoyed by generations for its fried chicken, pies, breakfasts and other comfort food. It opened in 1933 but was displaced in 2006 by the construction of a luxury condo tower. New owners kept the SA favorite going in two new locations but finally threw in the towel last year due to post-pandemic pressures.
