San Antonio saw quite a bit of new restaurants, a few reopenings and even a revitalized menu. Here's how the food scene changed last month.

Dough Pizzeria Napoletana's second San Antonio location (and third in Texas) opened inside the OK Bar at the corner of S. Alamo and Cesar E. Chavez. The restaurant features a similar menu to the original location of fresh mozzarella, antipasti and burrata along with Neapolitan-style pizzas certified under the guidelines created by Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani (Neapolitan Pizzaioli Association).

Billed as "San Antonio's first artisan Caribbean restaurant," The Jerk Shack is a quaint and polished open-air restaurant similar to Dignowity Meats. The menu will feature meats by the pound, starters, Chef's Specials, and sides. Chicken and pork by the pound will range between $7 and $13; starters will run $3 to $8; entrees, like the jerk tacos, jerk shrimp and grits with maque choux, jerk wings and mac, steamed fish, braised oxtails and curry goat will range from $8 to $23.

Dishes will vary between the mid- to high teens for hot bites, and the mid-30s for the prime seafood, such as an East Coast flounder, Artic char, ruby trout stuffed with shrimp butter, red snapper ciopinno and Georges Bank sea scallops.
