From the long-running burlesque troupe that gave birth to the tradition-bucking Pastie Pops comes Nuclear Valentine’s: The After Math of Love. Billed as both a “post-Valentine’s Day party for the masses” and a “perfect opportunity to let loose with a girlfriend, boyfriend or best friend,” the scantily clad affair promises to erase the inevitable disappointments of the over-hyped holiday with an abundance of shimmying and shaking. Hosted by local musician and nightlife innovator Wayne Holtz, the evening of “burlesque, bitterness, belly laughs, broken hearts, best friends, bad decisions and booze” brings together performers from “all over the map” — including Austinites Chola Magnolia, Zoja Ulesoo and Eve Calientina, Dallas-based Rayne Drawps, Janie Slash and Mary Jane Green, and the Alamo City’s own Annabella Lugosi, Wicked Leigh Devine and Lita Deadly.
