Wat Dat Mouf Do Erotic Poetry Slam

Poetry has long been a preferred form of wooing, of expressing sexuality (directly or dressed up in metaphors), and of ruminating on love in all its forms. While you might not think of a poetry slam as the sexiest affair, the hosts of the weekly Blah Poetry Spot invite you to challenge that perception with “Wat Dat Mouf Do: An Erotic Poetry Slam.” Hosted by Glo (aka “The Mistress of Thickness”), the slam is open to all who wish to compete for cash, prizes, and, ultimately, the title of Erotica Slam Champ. Props and costumes are welcomed and there will be local merchants on hand that specialize in adult products. The night is not all naughtiness, however, as proceeds from the special slam benefit Write Art Out and the 2018 Southern Fried Poetry Slam (coming to San Antonio for the first time ever).
